The Public Process
Broadway Station Partners worked closely with the surrounding community to bring forth a vision that incorporated shared goals for the site’s redevelopment. Beginning October 2015, Broadway Station Partners presented to seven (7) Registered Neighborhood Organizations (RNO’s) to discuss the intended redevelopment activities. In November 2015 The Broadway Station Advisory Committee (BSTAC) was convened by Broadway Station Partners to provide the community with the opportunity to learn more about the proposed development project and to provide input and feedback relative to the proposal. The BSTAC met four (4) times, and Broadway Station Partners held two (2) Public Workshops to discuss the proposed development, followed by a final presentation to all seven neighborhood associations. The proposed site plan received unanimous support from all seven RNO’s at City Council.
